Medical Assistant Phlebotomist - Days call
Join us at Gateway Regional Medical Center as a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in our Occupational Health department, specializing in drug and alcohol testing. You will perform specimen collection (urine, saliva, hair), venipuncture, breath alcohol testing, and maintain compliance with DOT and non-DOT protocols. Patient intake, documentation, and confidentiality of test results are essential responsibilities. Attention to detail, safety standards, and customer service are critical.

Full-time - Work Schedule:
Days, 40 hrs/wk + call
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Phlebotomy and injection instruction certification (required)
- Certified Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) and Certified Professional Collector (CPC) – DTIA preferred (required)
- Drug testing certification required within 45 days of hire if not already certified (required)
- Computer and telephone skills (required)
- Proficiency with department-specific equipment and filing systems (required)

$16.20 - $26.24 per hour.
