Base pay range$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr
You are the ideal candidate for the Communications Specialist position if you:

- Have outstanding creative, written, and oral communication skills
- Are proficient in Windows, Microsoft, and Mac systems
· Have essential experience with Adobe CS products and graphic design internet applications, Photography/Videography skills a plus, basic knowledge of search engine optimization techniques, and Google analytics
- Have a bachelor’s degree in communications, graphics, marketing, advertising, or a related field
- Are willing to do occasional public speaking

COMPENSATION:$25 - $28/hr, depending on experience
POSITION:
Part-time or Full-time (benefits included for full-time)
PURPOSE:
Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to broaden awareness and involvement with Mosaic Health
RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to the Executive Director; works in conjunction with the ED and President/CEO
Responsibilities:
- Strengthen and maintain a consistent brand identity across all media platforms with crucial patient and donor audiences.
- Manage the planning, graphic design, content creation, delivery, and updates of all Mosaic Health patient and donor print communications, including direct mail appeals, invitations, marketing materials, internal documents, displays, and promotional pieces.
- Manage the planning, graphic design, content creation, delivery, and updates of all Mosaic Health patient and donor electronic and online communications, including the website, e-newsletters, texts, blogs, and social media channels.
- Help to create and implement an annual advertising campaign that includes new and traditional media.
- Assist in coordinating content for media and public relations opportunities, including speaking engagements, presentations, interviews, special meetings, etc.
- Collaborate with the SEO management company to develop and implement a strategy for reaching patients through their online activities.
- Continually research the latest communication strategies, techniques, and trends
- Manage and maintain relationships and accounts with any communications-related vendors or consultants.
- Assist the ED/CEO with public speaking assignments in local church and community events as needed.
