The Occupational Health LPN/RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals presenting to the Occupational Health Clinic. This role supports the efficient flow of patients through the clinic while ensuring safe, timely, and compliant clinical services. The LPN/RN communicates relevant clinical information to employers, referring physicians, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and Case Managers as permitted by applicable laws and confidentiality regulations.
The LPN/RN serves as a clinical resource for occupational health practices, including infection control standards, OSHA requirements, Illinois Workers' Compensation laws, and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). This position collaborates with providers, clinic staff, and external partners to promote positive patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination of care in an occupational health setting.

BSN or RN with BS degree in health-related field and/or business administration. - Preferred: COHN or COHN‑S

Completion of an accredited LPN program - Preferred:
Previous experience in occupational health or ambulatory outpatient setting
- Required:
Current Illinois Nursing License - Required:
Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
- Required:
Previous experience in occupational health or ambulatory outpatient setting. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Illinois Worker's Compensation System, case management and DOT regulations governing drug and alcohol screening. - Preferred:
Knowledge of infection control principles and previous experience with vaccines

Pay is determined based on various factors, including education level, years of experience, relevant certifications, and specific skills related to the position. The final compensation package will be discussed with Human Resources to ensure fairness and alignment with the candidate's qualifications.
