Flex Security Officer – All Shifts (Full Time) – Fairview Heights, IL
Join Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. as a Flex Security Officer. The role is available for 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends, and holidays. This position is in the metro east region covering locations from Godfrey to Highland, Edwardsville to Cahokia Heights, Pontoon Beach to Sauget, and is part of a THC‑free, drug‑free workplace.
Compensation & BenefitsBase pay: $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr
Daily wage range: $16.00–$18.50/hr

Responsibilities & ExpectationsProvide exceptional service to clients and guests, uphold our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, and maintain safe, secure environments. Respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and appropriate escalation.
Candidate Qualifications- Minimum 18 years of age, Illinois PERC Security Officer License.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Availability Friday‑Sunday 1:00 pm‑7:00 am and all holidays.
- Reliable cell phone for communication.
- High school diploma, GED, or willingness to complete a GED program.
- Average computer skills; advanced skills a plus.
- Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus.
- Professional interaction with diverse individuals.
- Attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
- Rapid emergency response and appropriate escalation.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
All candidates must complete a pre‑employment screening process including drug screening (mouth swab and/or urinalysis) and background investigation.
