Crane Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Service Technician to join Illinois Electric Works. If you have strong electrical troubleshooting ability and mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

• Perform diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Conduct repairs and maintenance
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
• Travel to customer sites to repair equipment

Candidates must have a valid driver s license.

• HS Diploma or equivalent required, further degree a plus
• 2+ years of experience working with industrial equipment, including cranes and hoists
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electric equipment
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Able to work at great heights
• Proficiency in operating cranes, hoists, and other relevant equipment a plus; willingness to learn to operate cranes, and other relevant equipment required

Target pay range for this role is $20/hr.

- $40/hr pay offered will be determined based on knowledge, skills, ability and experience.
