This role is offered by HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, based in Granite City, IL. The position requires a Class A or B CDL license with a tanker endorsement and the ability to drive manual transmission trucks. Availability to travel between work sites and out of town if needed is required.

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $43.00/hr

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer.
• Hands‑on operation of vacuum equipment, hydroblasting equipment, ultra high‑pressure pumps and other specialized equipment.
• Operate vacuum trucks, cutting equipment, and other job‑site equipment.
• Examine surfaces for conformance to company and customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
• Perform duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians and transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections, maintain driver’s logs, and comply with vehicle policy and DOT requirements.
• Load and unload hoses; unload vacuum truck at dump sites; provide general maintenance in the field.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Class A or B CDL license with tanker endorsement, no restrictions.
• No restrictions on license.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving policy.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck and knowledge of wet and dry vacuums.
• Experience with emergency equipment, e.g., fire extinguishers.
• Manual transmission vehicle driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to travel between work sites and out of town when needed.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• In some cases, Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Class A or B CDL license required; no restrictions.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Manual transmission experience required.
• Availability to travel between work sites and out of town when needed.
