CDL-A Intermodal Truck Driver at Schneider

Edwardsville, IL (and surrounding area)
Experience required: 3 months or greater CDL experience
OverviewDrive intermodal freight across the region, hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 75% drop-and-hook freight.
Responsibilities- Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
- 100% no-touch freight that is 75% drop-and-hook.
- Drive in and out of railyards within 350 miles of Edwardsville, IL.
- Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty and not driving.
- Longevity bonus:
Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year. - $5,000 sign‑on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
- Paid orientation.
- Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Tanker endorsement and Haz Mat endorsement are strongly preferred.
- Live within 50 miles of Edwardsville, IL.
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
