Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Experience: Sales administration experience desirable
About the OpportunityAn established manufacturer within the construction industry is looking for a highly organised Sales Administrator to join its team in Grantham.
This is a varied role supporting the wider sales function with everything from processing orders and responding to customer queries through to maintaining CRM information and liaising with internal teams.
You’ll be joining a business that works with contractors, developers, engineers and design consultants across the UK, with a strong focus on customer service, product availability and technical support.
The RoleWorking closely with the sales team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support across the sales function.
- Responding to incoming customer enquiries and ensuring queries reach the right person when required.
- Processing customer orders and raising the relevant documentation.
- Maintaining accurate information across CRM and Qload systems
. - Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
- Liaising with credit control and transport teams regarding customer orders.
- Keeping customers updated on shortages, deliveries and ongoing orders.
- Providing accurate project and order updates when requested.
Supporting with invoice queries. - Recording customer complaints and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate person for resolution.
- Promoting the wider range of concrete products available.
- Supporting the wider team with additional administrative requirements when needed.
We’re looking for someone who is confident dealing with customers and enjoys working in a busy, organised environment.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
. - A methodical approach to resolving customer and order queries.
- The ability to prioritise several tasks at the same time.
- Confidence working independently while remaining part of a wider team.
- A proactive and motivated approach to your work.
Previous business or sales administration experience
, experience within a manufacturing environment or experience using CRM systems would be advantageous.
