Role: EYFS Primary Teacher

Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire

Start Date: ASAP/May 2026

Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)

Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Heart of Supply are excited to be working with a range of warm, welcoming primary schools in Grantham who are seeking passionate and nurturing EYFS Primary Teachers to support children at the very start of their educational journey.

Whether you're an experienced Early Years specialist or a primary teacher eager to further develop your EYFS practice, supply teaching offers the perfect balance of flexibility, variety, and professional growth. You'll have the opportunity to work across Nursery and Reception, creating engaging, play-based and structured learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

As an EYFS Primary Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping young minds, supporting early development, and helping children feel safe, happy, and excited to come to school each day. What

you will need
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with experience or newly qualified
  • Recent experience teaching in EYFS (Nursery or Reception), or a strong KS1 Teacher with a desire to gain experience in Early Years
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and ability to deliver play‑based, child‑led learning
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management with a positive, nurturing approach
  • Creativity and enthusiasm to engage young learners and support their developmental milestones
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, approachable manner
