Class Teacher - SEMH school

Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A specialist SEMH school in NG31 is seeking an inspiring and resilient teacher to join their supportive team.

The Role

As an SEMH Class Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with SEMH needs.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Implement strategies to support students' emotional and social development.
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to create individualised learning plans.
Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment to encourage progress.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
Has experience working with SEMH students or in a similar setting.
Will be happy teaching key stage 3 students (Year
8) (desirable).
Is patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting students with additional needs.
Can adapt teaching styles to engage and motivate learners.
Has strong behaviour management skills and a passion for inclusive education.
