GSL Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to provide maternity cover at a secondary school in Grantham
. This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography specialist who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and supporting students’ academic progress.

The role will involve teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience. You will be joining a supportive department and a welcoming school environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback
• Maintain effective classroom behaviour and positive learning environments
• Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider staff team
• Fulfil all professional responsibilities during the maternity cover period

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialism in Geography
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A positive, flexible, and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
