Job Summary

15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year during term time. Starting salary £8,694 per annum.

We are looking to appoint a Cleaner to start in September 2026. The role is 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3.30pm to 6.30pm) during term time, plus 15 additional hours (including 38 weeks of term time plus 15 additional hours to be worked during times of school closure). A reliable, resourceful and enthusiastic cleaner who can work as part of a small team to ensure cleanliness of specific areas of the School.

The role involves cleaning of surfaces, floors and sanitisation of toilet facilities, general tidying and removal of rubbish from designated areas in the school including offices, classrooms, corridors, stairwells and toilets.

Previous experience of working in a similar role is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The salary grade for this post is (GLEA) Grade 1 Points 2-3 (£24,521 FTE, actual starting salary £8,694 per annum).
