SEN Teaching Assistant

Join our team in Grantham (NG31) and make a real difference in children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with diverse needs across the school day. You will collaborate with classroom teachers and external professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt materials to suit each student’s learning style.

• Provide one‑on‑one support to students with SEN, fostering learning and development.
• Assist the classroom teacher with implementing IEPs and adapting materials.
• Create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere that promotes confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s progress.

• Experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN are desirable.
