C £40,000 p.a.

The Company:
Our client is an established and highly regarded leisure and visitor business in Leicestershire, offering a varied programme of experiences and events throughout the year.
With an ambitious programme spanning entertainment, seasonal events, family experiences, exhibitions and special events, they are looking for an experienced Events Manager to help develop new ideas and deliver an exciting programme.
Role & Responsibilities of the “Events Manager”:

· Plan, coordinate and deliver a varied programme of events from initial concept through to successful delivery

· Develop new event concepts and identify opportunities to create engaging experiences for visitors

· Manage suppliers, contractors, performers, exhibitors and external partners to ensure smooth delivery

· Coordinate event logistics including timings, access, infrastructure, visitor flow and on-the-day requirements

· Take ownership of event health & safety, risk assessments, licensing and compliance, working with external H&S providers where required

· Manage event budgets, costs and resources while maintaining a high-quality visitor experience
About You as the “Events Manager”:

· Proven experience organising and delivering a varied programme of events within a venue, visitor attraction, hospitality, leisure or similar environment

· Creative and commercially aware, with the ability to develop ideas and turn them into successful events

· Highly organised with strong operational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, suppliers and deadlines

· Excellent understanding of event health & safety, risk assessments, licensing and compliance

· A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and external partners

· Calm under pressure, proactive and practical, with genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable events
