Membership Develop Manager£40,000 - £42,000 depending on experienceLincolnshire Hybrid UK travel required Meraki Talent is seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Membership Development Manager to support the growth and development of a professional membership community.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the member journey from recruitment through to professional registration, with a strong emphasis on supporting students and early-career professionals.

Reporting to the Head of, you will play a key role in delivering membership strategy and strengthening engagement across a diverse and growing network. You will work closely with universities, employers, volunteers, and member groups to enhance mentoring, workshops, and professional development support.

You will be travelling across the UK, as well as the mix of remote and office working.The Role:
  • Delivering day-to-day membership development activity aligned with strategic objectives
  • Designing and delivering workshops and in-company support programmes
  • Supporting student, early career, and international membership initiatives
  • Strengthening local networks and member communities
  • Overseeing membership progression pathways and pipeline development
  • Promoting volunteer engagement and member-led activity
  • Acting as secretariat support for a student and early career committee
  • Contributing to wider organisational initiatives as required
Person Specification:
  • Previous experience working a Membership, Professional Body or Institute organisation
  • A degree in a science or engineering discipline would be a preference
  • Experience in dealing with members and managing their subscriptions
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • The ability to engage and influence a wide range of audiences
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel
