We’re looking for a Planning Manager to join our team in Grantham, where you’ll play a key role in coordinating production schedules, managing materials flow, and supporting operational success.

What You’ll Do

As Planning Manager, you will oversee the production planning process, ensuring optimal use of resources while maintaining quality and efficiency. Working closely with Area Coordinators, Production Leaders, and Supply Chain teams, you’ll ensure that all planning activities align with site and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning daily and weekly production schedules, adapting to meet changing priorities.
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels across the Grantham site.
  • Ensuring timely transfers and coordination between sites to maintain workflow.
  • Managing short‑life stock and raising concessions to avoid operational downtime.
  • Communicating effectively with production, stock control, despatch, and shift management.
  • Identifying process improvements to reduce costs, waste, and increase yields.
  • Upholding Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times.
  • Utilizing ERP systems (SAP, AROLINK) and Excel to manage plans and performance tracking.
What You’ll Bring

  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and coordination abilities.
  • Working knowledge of H&S and Food Safety principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and SAP.
