Fabricator/Welder
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a dedicated professional who takes pride in producing high-quality metalwork and fabrication projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating metal components, and performing precision welding operations to meet our exacting standards.
As a key member of our production team, you will work on diverse projects ranging from custom fabrication to production runs, ensuring all work meets safety standards, quality specifications, and project deadlines. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities Welding Operations- Perform skilled MIG welding on various metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to a consistently high standard
- Execute TIG welding operations where required, particularly on precision work and specialized materials
- Select appropriate welding techniques, equipment, and materials based on project specifications
- Maintain welding equipment in optimal working condition, performing routine maintenance and reporting any issues
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards through visual inspection and testing procedures
- Follow proper welding sequences to minimize distortion and ensure structural integrity
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications with accuracy
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to precise specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment including guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and cutting tools
- Perform fitting and assembly operations, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up before welding
