Pilgrim's Europe is one of the UK's leading food manufacturers, and we're currently looking for an Area Controller to join our team in Grantham. Shift pattern:
Sunday to Thursday -

Salary tarts from £638 per week, £33 176 per year.

• Lead and support production operatives within your designated area.
• Act as the first point of contact for team members regarding line and area-related issues.
• Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, stock rotation, waste management, and inventory accuracy.
• Complete SAP transactions and production paperwork accurately and on time.
• Coordinate labour and breaks to maximise production efficiency.
• Investigate stock variances and support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with Area Leaders, QA teams, and other departments.
• Support environmental and sustainability initiatives across the business.

• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and food manufacturing standards
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Attention to detail and accuracy when completing paperwork and system transactions
• Flexible, proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable
