A new vacancy has arisen for a Logistics and Warehouse Administrator with our client based s is a fairly autonomous role with the support of the Warehouse manager but is a nice role where you can develop and take charge of the day to day whilst still having stringent guidelines and process to follow.
The successful candidate will be working in a small and friendly team but must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, provide proficient problem solving, and have good logistics and warehouse administration skills.
Key aspects of the Logistics and Warehouse Administrator role include:- Providing administrative support for all warehouse and logistics processes
- Prepare, process and check incoming and outgoing goods documents.
- Record incoming goods, stock transfers and outgoing goods in the ERP system.
- Preparing delivery notes, consignment notes, dispatch labels and customs documents (where required)
- Coordinating and monitoring deadlines for goods received and dispatched.
- Communicating with hauliers, suppliers, customers and internal departments
- Handling complaints, discrepancies and transport damage
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, and assisting with stock-takes
- Monitoring compliance with delivery deadlines and transport specifications
- Maintaining and updating master data in the ERP system
- Preparing reports and key performance indicators for warehousing and logistics
- Assisting with the optimisation of logistics processes and administrative procedures
- Ensuring compliance with internal quality, safety and process standards
- General administrative tasks in the warehouse office
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, to prioritise tasks and be organised and methodical.
- Transport and logistics Admin experience.
- Must be fully computer literate with ERP / CRM systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Own means of transport
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role is working Monday - Friday, 7.30am-4.00pm
