Gastroenterologist Opportunity at Asante in Medford, Oregon! Asante is seeking four General Gastroenterologists to join our award-winning teams in Medford, Oregon. We provide services at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC), a 378-bed level II trauma center and regional referral hospital, offering robotics and a hybrid OR suite.

Responsibilities- Outpatient and inpatient practice with longitudinal management of cirrhotic liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and general GI complaints
- Team management including supervising and directing advanced practice clinicians
- Screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic colonoscopy (biopsy, snare polypectomy, argon plasma coagulation)
- Screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic EGD (esophageal dilation, PEG placement, management of acute variceal and non-variceal GI bleeding using banding, sclerotherapy, cautery, and clipping)
- Esophageal function testing including high-resolution esophageal manometry and esophageal pH studies
- Interpretation of video capsule enteroscopy
- Preferred:
Advanced Endoscopic candidates with expertise in therapeutic ERCP (biliary/pancreatic duct cannulation, management of stones and biliary strictures) and diagnostic EUS with fine-needle aspiration - (Optional) Management of pancreatic pseudo cyst including endoscopic pseudocystgastrostomy placement
- Licensed physician, MD or DO; board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology
- Oregon medical license;
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association - Eligibility for hospital medical staff membership and privileges; eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Ability to participate in hospital malpractice coverage and related requirements
