Overview

Woodland Charter School is a public Waldorf charter school located in the Siskiyou Mountains in Murphy, Oregon. We are seeking a skilled teacher for the 2025/26 school year. We are seeking an imaginative, collaborative and joyful Games teacher to join our faculty as we continue to offer an innovative Waldorf-Inspired Education. The Games teacher instructs grades 3–8 and is actively involved in Medieval Games and Olympiad. This is a full-time position and the school runs on a Monday–Thursday schedule, with some Friday inservice days throughout the school year.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct Games class for grades 3–8.
  • Be actively involved in Medieval Games and Olympiad activities.
  • Contribute to a Waldorf-Inspired educational environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student learning.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with an education-related major
  • Waldorf Teacher Certification or Spatial Dynamics or Bothmer Training
  • Experience teaching Games Class
  • Oregon teaching license
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and loving with students
  • Strong communication skills
