Charge Nurse RN

Regency Care of Rogue Valley is seeking a compassionate Charge Nurse to join our skilled nursing community in Grants Pass, OR.

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)! Wound Care Certification not required, but preferred.

As a charge nurse, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all activities related to resident well‑being.

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home‑like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, assistance or administration of medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self‑care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations

• Possess a current registered nurse license in good standing
• Typical candidates have 1 year of providing supervision in healthcare; new grads are encouraged to apply!
