Charge / Wound Care Nurse Opportunity

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)!

Wound Care Certification Not Required, but Would Be Preferred.

As a charge nurse, you are essential toquality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration,nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.
You will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice,individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities ofdaily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident ca redocumentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations

• Possess a current registered nurse license in good standing
• Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare. New grads are encouraged to apply!
