• Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form.
• Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas.
• Comply with state sanitation codes.
• Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately.
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.

• Can obtain a Food Handlers card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by state regulations.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
