Job Description

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room

• Rapidly assess, prioritize, and treat patients with acute or emergent conditions

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care

• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per ER protocols

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Education and Certification Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN license or compact license eligible to practice in NM

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred

• Recent Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred
