A hospital in Grants, New Mexico is seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to provide meaningful patient care.

New graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and safely dispense medications.
• Prepare IV and parenteral medications.
• Monitor patient medication therapy for safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness.
• Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and daily operations.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support pharmacy staff.
• Participate in medication safety, quality improvement, and emergency response activities.
• Support formulary management and automated dispensing systems.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Active New Mexico Pharmacist license required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered.
