• Graduate of an accredited Recreational Therapy program
• Current certification as a Recreational Therapist
• NM PED certification required
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred, particularly in school settings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

• Provide therapeutic recreational services that support students' educational, social, and emotional development
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Document services and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and professional standards
• Promote student engagement, independence, and participation through therapeutic recreation activities
• Support students in achieving functional, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
