Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Grants, NM | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

• Provide comprehensive nursing care within an LDRP setting, including obstetric care and care of stable newborns
• Perform stabilization of sick or at-risk infants as needed
• Apply AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring competencies throughout patient care
• Float to other departments (e.g., ER, ICU, PACU) based on competency and comfort level, as operationally needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and neonatal outcomes

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — valid New Mexico state licensure required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery / LDRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates are not accepted)
• 2 professional references in specialty required at time of submission

• S.T.A.B.L.E. program certification preferred
• OPS (Obstetric Procedural Skills) experience preferred
• Comfort floating to ER, ICU, or PACU environments

• Expected 36 hours per week with the possibility of block scheduling for added flexibility
