Kelly Engineering is seeking a motivated Electrical / Automation Technician to join our team in Grantsville, UT. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role around the 6-month mark. • Performing diagnostic troubleshooting on 36+ robotic cells across a variety of processes (Pick & Place, Fasteners, Dispensing, Laser Cleaning, Laser Welding, TIG Welding, Testing, Vision).
• Conducting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on automation equipment.
• Performing equipment failure analysis, repairs, and scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Setting up manual and semi-automatic assembly lines, including support for pre-production runs.
• Assisting with installation of new automated equipment and relocation of existing systems.
• Creating and editing robot programs; maintaining up-to-date manuals and documentation.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Partnering with engineering to recommend and implement process and machine improvements.
• Supporting and promoting all company safety and quality initiatives
  .

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in automation or EMS industries

• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software applications
  .
• Hands-on experience with automation equipment assembly, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow.

• Mid-Senior level
