Mobile Mechanic – Limestone Terminal (Grantsville, UT)

Location: Grantsville, Utah
Schedule: Full-time
Pay: $32-$35

Our limestone terminal in Grantsville, UT is looking for a dependable and skilled Mobile Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of light to mid-duty equipment used throughout the terminal. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, staying busy, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have experience with automotive or diesel systems and be comfortable working on a wide range of equipment.

• Light and mid-duty mobile equipment

• Forklifts

• Small loaders

• Pallet jacks (manual and electric)

• Utility vehicles used throughout the terminal

• Basic support equipment used in daily mining terminal operations

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on terminal mobile equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

• Complete preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

• Repair or replace components such as brakes, hoses, belts, filters, starters, batteries, and small engine parts.

• Keep accurate maintenance logs and communicate equipment status to supervisors.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Travel between on-site areas within the terminal as needed (all local—no long-distance travel).

• 2–4 years of mechanic experience (automotive, diesel, or equipment strongly preferred).

• Experience working on forklifts, loaders, or similar light industrial equipment is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and diagnostic information.

• Must be able to work independently and manage daily workload.

• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre‑employment screenings.
