Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Tech to join our team. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of radiology technology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient experiences. Responsibilities- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and maintaining patient safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Provide exceptional patient care, including addressing patient concerns and providing emotional support
- Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or related field
- Completion of a radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- 1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or imaging center setting
- Experience with various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Strong understanding of radiology technology and imaging principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and safety
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R)
- Current state license as a Radiology Tech (if required)
