The Assistant Manager will assist and execute all aspects of park operation, including guest services, food and beverage, training and operations. This individual reports directly to the General Manager and works in tandem to reinforce operational and cultural standards.

• General: Work with and support the General Manager; assume GM responsibilities in their absence.
• General: Coach and develop a large and diverse team through clear written and verbal communication.
• General: Manage all facets of the operation.
• General: Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• General: Establish and uphold Altitude standards and compliance.
• General: Oversee Altitude’s defined processes around inventory and reporting responsibilities.
• General: Track all spending and ensure it is accounted for in accordance with park policies.
• General: Develop the team by establishing profitability goals and rewarding positive behavior.
• People: Recruit and hire talent.
• People: Set and hold expectations of accountability with the team, upholding brand standards.
• People: Ensure execution of training programs to equip team to perform their job functions successfully.
• People: Create a work environment that promotes staff retention levels.
• People: Maintain a comfortable work environment and recognize the importance of conflict resolution.
• : Ensure staffing levels meet business needs while considering team member well‑being.
• People: Maintain positive guest experience using the SMILES philosophy.
• People: Select and develop high‑potential staff members for greater responsibility or internal promotion.
• Sales: Execute sales and marketing plans in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Sales: Manage the budget and business plan to meet or exceed planned financial performance.
• Sales: Adjust as necessary to adapt to changing situations.
• Sales: Maintain positive community relationships and participate in local events.
• Sales: Promote membership sales.
• Sales: Draft, communicate, track, and hold departments accountable for individual goals.
• Guest Services: Create an on‑brand Altitude guest experience through superior operations.
• Guest Services: Oversee cleanliness of the park and ensure audit/inspection compliance.
• Guest Services: Ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.
• Guest Services: Maintain high visibility in guest areas during peak times.
• Guest Services: Walk through the park to check for cleanliness, maintenance of attractions and signage.
• Guest Services: Seek out guest feedback and use it for management and hourly team development.
• Guest Services: Follow safety and incident reporting guidelines.

• 2+ years of experience managing a team in an entertainment or food and beverage environment.
• Food safety or alcohol certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership qualities, including organization and time management.
• Able to recruit, motivate, develop, retain, and promote top talent through thoughtful leadership and genuine concern for team member growth.
• Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Operate in a fast‑paced environment with constant distractions.
• Lift and carry over 50 pounds regularly.
• Achieve budgeted financial results in areas of responsibility.
• Act as a mentor and lead by strong example.
