Kubota North America completed a major transformation initiative and implementation of SAP S/4
HANA is looking a SAP Finance Architect Manager. This position will be a key member of our SAP Center of Excellence and lead the IT systems implementation, deployment and support of the Production Planning and Assembly Operations capabilities for Kubota in North America.
This role will primarily be responsible for owning Finance functionality of S/4
HANA and partnering with the business to understand their requirements, ensure process standardization by utilizing out-of-the box SAP software capabilities, facilitate key design decisions, integration, hands on systems configuration, testing and operational monitoring to continuously improve efficiency and quality of the process.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required (preferably in computer science or related engineering disciplines)
- 10+ years relevant experience supporting and implementing global FICO Finance solutions
- CPA, Chartered ACC or related certification a plus
- Certification in SAP FI/CO and other modules is highly desired, though not mandatory
- Experience with at least 2 SAP S/4
HANA integration or deployments is required - Intercompany Processes knowledge
- Purchasing workflow knowledge
- Senior SAP S/4 FICO functional experience and excellent understanding of finance business processes within an S/4 environment
- Knowledge of Accounting/Finance business processes and of SAP S/4 FICO integration with FI, AP, AR, GL, FM and PS modules
- Lead the gathering and validation of requirements, design, implementation and support of SAP Financials.
- Experience working with Operations and Finance business stakeholders to manage solution delivery through the development lifecycle, provide training and guidance, and create process and training documents
- Solution designing and support experience in financial reporting, profitability reports and COPA, cost planning and budgeting, product costing, integration of various modules, asset accounting, and profit center accounting
- Gather requirements, perform analysis, writing functional specifications, designing and configuring system and, leading training, developing system documentation, and interface solutions
- Perform and lead system testing, User Acceptance Testing
- Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Integration point configuration experience of FICO with OTC, PTP, MDG, MFG, VIM, Open Text, Concur, and Coupa
- Experience working with FSCM Credit Management, Treasury and Cash Management along with MBC integration
- Strong knowledge of ASAP Methodology, System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), service-oriented architecture and Enterprise Application Integration tools
- Experience with controls-based environment with ITAR and SOX experience. Ability to effectively coordinate and manage cross-functional and technical activities with strong negotiation and leadership skills
