Basic Purpose and Scope of PositionKubota North America is going through a major transformation initiative and implementation of SAP S/4
HANA. This position will be a key member of our SAP Center of Excellence and lead the IT systems implementation, deployment and support of the end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay process capabilities for Kubota in North America. This role will primarily be responsible for owning PTP architect functionality of S/4
HANA and partnering with the business to understand their requirements, ensure process standardization by utilizing out‑of‑the‑box SAP software capabilities, facilitate key design decisions, integration, hands‑on systems configuration, testing and operational monitoring to continuously improve efficiency and quality of the process.
- PTP Process Management:
Lead and manage the end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay process within SAP S/4
HANA, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business requirements. - Lead the Procurement team on Design sessions for SAP S/4
HANA with the business and technical teams leveraging SAP best practices and industry templates, provide inputs to the technical development team for RICEFW and Data Migration, manage Cutover activities, testing and end‑user training. - Configure, document and maintain the relevant functions for Procurement in SAP S/4
HANA including but not limited to: - Managing Production Support and troubleshooting the issues in live system by engaging appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Being responsive and leading the root‑cause analysis and thought process on upstream and downstream impacts of the change.
- Providing quick resolution of the problems ensuring minimal downtime to the business and adhering to the change control process of the organization.
- Drive continuous process improvements by monitoring and analyzing the KPIs, proposing process and system changes, providing details on scope, estimating the cost of implementation, timelines, improving quality and business outcomes.
- Lead and manage external members from Kubota’s Systems Integration partners to effectively manage project and support activities, deliverables, risks, timelines and quality.
- Act as a Thought Leader and Subject Matter Expert with continued research on latest SAP software capabilities and contributing to the knowledge repository by writing white papers, blogs, participating and demonstrating leadership skills to proactively improve IT department’s operational processes, take initiatives on trainings to enhance the internal technical capabilities, and strive to improve the end‑user satisfaction results.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering or a related discipline required.
- At least 3 years of leadership as a PTP architect in SAP S/4 or ECC environment.
- At least 10 years of similar experience required in a SAP environment.
- Overall 10+ years of experience in the SAP functional domain specifically with Procurement, ARIBA, MM/SD & MM/FICO integrations.
- Experience with SAP Ariba and tools integrating with core PTP functionality such as Open Text VIM.
- Knowledge in Production Planning and Materials Management modules are nice to have.
- Knowledge in SAP MDG in Material Master is nice to have.
- Should have completed at least 1‑2 full life‑cycle implementations of S/4
HANA. - Participates in multiple design activities with authority to make independent choices free from supervision.
- Requires strong communication skills to work internally with end‑user departments, management and peers. Develops and provides written and verbal presentations to end users, peers, and support personnel.
- Problem solving and analytical skills: demonstrates superior diagnostic ability and proficiency in the use of specialized tools, techniques and procedures. Exhibits strong analytical ability and creativity in developing and integrating an end‑to‑end solution.
- Strong team leadership skills able to provide leadership and direction to functional team members and business users of the system.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
