Embedded Firmware Engineer

Local Candidates Preferred as no relocation assistance will be provided for the face-to-face interview or for the duration of this job.

The contract is expected to be for a duration of approximately 6 months.
This position is 100% Onsite.

The ideal candidate should possess the required technical skills and be available to work on-site five days a week.

• Experience with Zephyr Operating System,
  FreeRTOS, and board bring up using Renesas and Nordic

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer with extensive experience in board bring-up and real-time operating systems
, specifically with the Zephyr OS and FreeRTOS
. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with Renesas and Nordic microcontrollers
, alongside deep expertise in firmware development, hardware-software integration, and low-level programming. This role involves working with multiple hardware platforms, adhering to automotive agency testing standards (NHTSA, CSA, CENELEC), and working on complex IoT devices with various sensor integrations and wireless communication systems. In this role, you will engage in board bring-up and firmware development
, working directly with schematic capture and ensuring compliance with regulatory certifications. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve product design and troubleshoot issues while applying your expertise in embedded systems to enhance performance and reliability.

Candidates must be able to work onsite five days a week
, possess excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
, and demonstrate proficiency in design tools such as Altium Designer.
