Analytics Engineer

Paycom is seeking a highly skilled and self‑motivated Data Analyst to join our team, responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and inform strategic decision‑making. As a Data Analyst, you will design, build, and maintain large‑scale data pipelines, develop predictive models, and apply AI and machine learning techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven solutions, communicate findings to stakeholders, and drive business outcomes through data‑driven decision support.

• Build data pipelines following the most optimum industry standards
• Build forecasting models to understand user behavior and user retention
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Automate workflows and data processing tasks
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Apply AI and machine learning techniques to derive insights from complex datasets
• Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders using data visualization tools
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver actionable insights
• Identify and address data quality issues and discrepancies
• Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms
• Partner with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
• Analyze business processes and operations to identify opportunities for improvement
