Operations Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Overview
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Compliance Manager to join a client in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, direct hire role. The base pay range is $75,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain effective compliance programs and internal control systems.
- Continuously evaluate the efficiency of controls, recommending and implementing improvements.
- Identify potential compliance risks and areas of non-conformity across operations.
- Collaborate with all departments to enforce regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Conduct audits of facilities and processes; act as company representative during external audits (e.g., OSHA, FAA, ISO certifications).
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively adapt company practices as needed.
- Lead investigations into reported violations and oversee consistent resolution protocols.
- Deliver regular compliance reports to senior leadership.
- Design and facilitate company-wide compliance training programs.
- Develop and maintain organized documentation systems and compliance databases.
- Serve as liaison with external agencies and stakeholders during inspections and evaluations.
- Manage onsite security contracts and monitor facility surveillance systems.
- Operational Efficiency & Cost Reduction (10%):
Identify and implement warehouse efficiency strategies and cost-saving initiatives; analyze logistics and merchandise flow to optimize performance and reduce delays; promote open communication and a culture of continuous improvement. - Team Leadership & Culture (10%):
Foster a positive, inclusive, and safety-first work environment; support employee development through training and mentorship; strengthen internal and external partnerships to enhance compliance and operational success; ensure proper inventory and merchandise flow in the most efficient manner possible.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 10 years' experience in compliance management, including demonstrated leadership.
- Proven experience with ISO
9001, ISO
14001, and ISO
18001 standards. - Strong understanding of operational, financial, quality, and HR-related compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Experience with database systems and documentation tools. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCEP, CRCP) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage complex regulatory environments with confidence and clarity.
- Effective at building cross-functional relationships and influencing without authority.
- Skilled in audit preparation, risk assessment, and investigative procedures.
