Overview

The Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store’s success and efficiency, ensuring friendly, efficient customer interactions at the cash wrap and maintaining a well-organized sales floor. Accurate and effective work supports the flow of product from receipt to point of sale.

Responsibilities
  • CASH WRAP:
    Greet customers with a smile and eye contact, offer your name; interact genuinely; read cues to determine needs; conduct email/name capture where permitted by law; maintain accuracy at POS; keep the cash wrap organized and clean; suggest add-ons and gift cards; manage cash and POS media in compliance with policy; thank customers and provide reasons to return; represent the Coach brand appropriately.
  • STOCKROOM / WAREHOUSE:
    Receive shipments and transfers; notify store management when product arrives; scan cartons/transfers and verify information; communicate discrepancies; process shipments/transfers per Coach standards and timelines; organize and clean the stock room daily (including offsite/remote warehouse as applicable); shift/organize product to manage sell-through; monitor stock levels and ownership in back-of-house and sales floor; perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories;

    maintain Loss Prevention standards.
  • SALES FLOOR:
    Analyze replenishment needs and maintain stock on the floor; respond to sell-through by executing visual merchandising; support floor activities as directed; communicate product details (price points, features/benefits, color, stock availability) to customers; address customer requests confidently and collaborate with Sales Team or Store Management; maintain housekeeping standards.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience:

    1-3 years of retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in luxury retail service; knowledge of fashion trends and market competition.
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Technical:
    Familiarity with cash register systems; basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet); ability to use walkie talkie; read price and product release sheets.
  • Physical:
    Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively; maneuver on the sales floor and in the stock room; ability to climb, bend, kneel; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds for product shipments/transfers.
  • Schedule:

    Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic.
