Job Description

Our client, a leading transportation company, is currently seeking an accomplished Sales and Account Representative to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

Make daily contact and provide all clients with transportation services in an efficient and cost-effective manner

Grow accounts by increasing sales and services to clients on an annual basis

Increase the number of clients we serve and provide multi-modal services that include OTR and drayage services for the clients that meet or exceed their service expectations

Work closely with the Sales Manager and CDD Representatives to create and maintain a loyal carrier base

Follow the company's policies and procedures and ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained

Work to resolve any disputes, claims, or matters that may occur

Stay informed of changes in transportation and the customers’ industries that could affect sales

Comply with the company’s policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

Recent experience in the transportation industry is strongly preferred

Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales
