The aircraft fueler is responsible for safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft at the airport. The role requires performing simple mathematical functions and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies.
Responsibilities- Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner; drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts.
- Accurately account for fuel transactions.
- Conduct daily quality control checks on equipment and maintain it in clean, functional condition.
- Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
- Defuel aircraft as directed.
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English; perform basic math calculations.
- Able to lift and move up to 70 lbs while handling fueling carts and hoses.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Open availability and flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Preferred:
Prior experience, Commercial Driver’s License, or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
