Corporate Tax Senior

Your new company An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding tax team. Working alongside experienced tax specialists and accountants, you will support a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, UK subsidiaries of international groups, charities, and other organisations.

Your new role As a Corporate Tax Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate tax compliance services while gaining valuable exposure to advisory and transactional work.

Your responsibilities will include preparing corporation tax computations and returns for a varied client portfolio, completing tax adjustments and statutory accounts disclosures, and assisting with group tax reporting requirements. You will manage your own workflow to ensure compliance deadlines and client expectations are consistently met. Alongside compliance responsibilities, you will support senior colleagues with a variety of advisory projects, employer tax matters, and transactional assignments.

You will undertake technical research, prepare draft calculations and advice notes, and assist in coordinating UK tax requirements for companies operating within larger international groups. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally be AAT qualified, ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or possess equivalent practical experience gained within an accountancy practice environment. A strong accounting background and a solid understanding of UK corporation tax compliance processes are essential.

You will have experience preparing corporation tax computations and supporting statutory accounts tax provisioning and disclosure requirements. Exposure to owner-managed businesses and UK subsidiaries of larger groups would be advantageous.
