Position: Senior Accountant / Client Manager
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected independent local accountancy practice. Led by a highly experienced team with decades of expertise in accounting and taxation, the firm has built a strong reputation for delivering a personal, relationship-led service. The practice supports a diverse client portfolio comprising sole traders, limited companies and owner-managed businesses across a broad range of sectors, providing excellent exposure to a varied and interesting range of work.

The practice is committed to developing its people and is known for promoting from within wherever possible. Full ACCA study support is available for those looking to further their qualifications and progress their career within accountancy practice. Day-to-day of the role:
Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accounts and tax services. Prepare and review statutory accounts and personal and corporate tax returns. Lead client meetings, providing practical advice and support. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Review work completed by junior team members and support their development. Assist with client onboarding and practice development activities. Identify opportunities to add value and enhance the service provided to clients.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

AAT qualified (essential). ACCA qualified or studying towards ACCA (advantageous but not essential). Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment. Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation. Confidence in managing client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact. Ability to review work and provide guidance to junior team members. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
