Part-time Accounts Payable Assistant

Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant Victoria / Hybrid / 1 full day and 2 afternoons per week We are recruiting for a software business based in Victoria that is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team on a part-time basis for 6 months. This is a newly created role due to continued growth and increasing transaction volumes.

You’ll work alongside the existing AP Assistant, providing additional support across the day-to-day Accounts Payable function. The role will include:
Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and processing invoices Setting up new suppliers and maintaining supplier records Verifying and updating supplier bank details Managing the AP workflow and chasing purchase orders Raising POs and resolving queries and discrepancies Processing employee expenses Supporting with month-end and other ad-hoc finance tasks

Experience with in Accounts Payable is essential, and exposure to Net Suite, Tipalti and/or Concur would be beneficial. You’ll need to be organised, accurate and comfortable working independently as well as supporting the wider finance team. Working pattern:
Ideally, you will work a full day in the Victoria office on Tuesday, with Monday and Wednesday afternoons working remotely. There may also be flexibility to work full days on Monday and Wednesday remotely. This is an immediate requirement, so we are looking for someone who is available to start ASAP and is not currently tied into a notice period.
