Position: Accounts Semi-Senior / Accounts Senior
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected independent local accountancy practice. Led by a highly experienced team with decades of expertise in accounting and taxation, the firm has built a strong reputation for delivering a personal, relationship-led service. The practice supports a diverse client portfolio comprising sole traders, limited companies and owner-managed businesses across a broad range of sectors, providing excellent exposure to a varied and interesting range of work.

The practice is committed to developing its people and is known for promoting from within wherever possible. Full ACCA study support is available for those looking to further their qualifications and progress their career within accountancy practice. Day-to-day of the role:
Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Prepare personal and corporate tax returns. Support a varied portfolio of clients with their accounting and taxation requirements. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, responding to queries and providing ongoing support. Liaise with HMRC and third parties where required. Work closely with senior team members to ensure deadlines are met.

Assist with the onboarding of new clients and practice administration activities. Develop your technical knowledge through ongoing training and practical experience. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA. Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment. Experience preparing statutory accounts. Experience preparing both personal and corporate tax returns. Good understanding of accounting and taxation principles. Strong communication and organisational skills.
