Management Accountant - Construction

Your new company I am currently working with a high-growth Urban Developer, that is expanding both in the UK and internationally. With a strong portfolio of exciting projects and ambitious growth plans, the business is looking for a recently qualified Management Accountant to join its collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant who is looking to gain broad exposure within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and play a key role in supporting business performance.

Your new role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and providing commercial support across the business. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting. Producing financial analysis and ad hoc reports to support business decisions. Preparing and reviewing cash flow forecasts and projections. Partnering with project and operational teams to drive financial performance. Supporting month-end and year-end processes. Acting as a key contact for external auditors and assisting with audit requirements.

Preparing quarterly VAT returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Contributing to continuous improvements across finance processes and reporting. What you will need to succeed You'll be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA) with strong experience with the system COINS. Ideally, you'll have confidence with Xero or Netsuite and experience with multi-currency reporting and project accounting, but not essential. You will have a commercial mindset with strong technical understanding and confidence to challenge the status quo.
