Glitter Beam Radio is a vibrant station dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, while welcoming listeners of all backgrounds. Known for providing "Music with Sparkle," the station offers a unique playlist of anthems and diverse show formats, making every program distinct. Glitter Beam develops its own shows and provides opportunities for aspiring presenters, offering guidance on presenting, editing, and broadcasting standards. The station covers a wide array of engaging, quirky, and interactive topics often overlooked by mainstream media.

Role Description

This is a volunteer on-site role in West Malling, Kent, for a Volunteer Radio Presenter. The primary responsibilities include hosting live shows, curating content, engaging with the audience, discussing various topics, and working under broadcasting guidelines. The role also involves contributing to music selection, show format development, and collaborating closely with the production team to ensure high-quality broadcasts. No experience? No problem, we provide full training!

• Monday 7pm to 9pm
• Tuesday 1pm to 3pm
• Tuesday 4pm to 7pm
• Monday to Friday 10am to 1pm

Our studio is located in King's Hill, WEST MALLING. Please note that the volunteer activity will be held in the studio in West Malling.
