Your Role:
As the School Attendance Officer, you'll play a vital role in promoting regular attendance and punctuality among students. You'll work closely with pupils, parents, and staff to track attendance, follow up on absences, and help create a supportive environment that encourages full engagement in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality records
Contacting parents/carers regarding unexplained absences
Liaising with staff and external agencies to support students
Producing reports and maintaining accurate attendance data
Supporting school initiatives to improve overall attendance rates

What We're Looking For:

Experience working in a school or administrative setting
Strong communication and organisational skills
A proactive and compassionate approach
Knowledge of attendance systems (SIMS or similar) is essential
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
