Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with high needs, including Global Development Delay, non-verbal communication, sensory needs, and personal care. This position is based at a SEN school in Dartford, Kent, and will run from January 2026.

Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a child with high needs, including sensory needs, non-verbal communication, and personal care.
Assist in achieving learning and development targets for the child.
Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals to create an inclusive, supportive environment.
Foster an environment that promotes the child's independence and engagement in learning.
Implement personalised strategies for communication, behaviour management, and sensory support.
Requirements:
Passionate about working inclusively with children with additional needs.
Experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal communication.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable providing personal care and supporting sensory needs.
Previous experience working in a similar setting is an advantage.
