Tutor, Special Needs ​/ Learning Disabilities, Elementary School

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a young person’s life?

We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate tutor(s) within Gravesend and the surrounding area to support young people who are currently out of education due to a range of needs, including having an EHCP, ongoing health conditions, or having been excluded from school.

The Role as a Tutor:

One-to-one tuition in the young person’s home or within the local community

Support learners to re-engage with education through personalised learning plans

Deliver core subject tuition (and beyond where applicable)

Build trust and confidence in a safe, supportive learning environment

Key Details for this Tutor:

Flexible, temporary work based on the learner’s individual needs

Hourly pay – funded support provision

Ongoing Tutor referrals available across Gravesend and surrounding areas

Ideal Candidate for this Tutor position:

Experienced in working with SEND, SEMH, or disengaged learners

Confident delivering lessons independently and adapting to varied needs

Patient, empathetic, and resilient

Able to travel locally for face-to-face tuition
