Behaviour Mentor

Location: Gravesend

Position: Behaviour Mentor

About Us: Our aim is to support all of our pupils by providing the highest quality learning experience. We are committed to finding the best ways of supporting, inspiring, and motivating our pupils to re-engage with their learning and prepare for the next stage of their education. Often, our pupils come to us after negative experiences in mainstream schooling. We take care to get to know our pupils, and our extensive work around personal development underpins all of their success.

Our vision to inspire, aspire, and empower our pupils fully captures the culture of our school community.

Our Mission: Without compromise, we provide a nurturing, inspirational learning environment where aspirational, individual pathways are created. Our values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning and create an environment that prepares our pupils to be confident, happy citizens.

Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their personal development and wellbeing.
  • Implement specialist interventions to empower pupils to reintegrate into mainstream education or continue into education, training, or employment.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
  • Inspire pupils to make the best possible progress in all areas of the curriculum.
  • Improve pupils' aspirations in school and in life, encouraging them to work hard and achieve success.
  • Empower pupils to succeed in all aspects of life, valuing their personal development over everything else.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and professional team environment.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • A chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

How to Apply: If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and believe in our mission to inspire, aspire, and empower, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your CV detailing your experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role.
